Here’s to 2013!

Happy New Year’s Eve! 2014 is right around the corner and I wanted to take a second to appreciate all that we were blessed with in 2013!
First of all, We adopted a wonderful dog, our sweet Duke.

Who went from this poor thing

To this happy camper!

Meeting Duke in the parking lot for the first time!

Sam & I both graduated from college and started out on our own.

Duke reppin’ our alma mater!

Our school mascot was a Boston Terrier too!

Sam got a wonderful full time job & I started my graduate program.

Our families are all happy & healthy.

We live as a family in a pet-friendly apartment with food in all of our bellies!

We’ve had the chance to take vacations as a family all over New England.

We’ve met so many other wonderful bloggers (especially via BlogPaws) and been lucky enough to win some contests. (Every bit helps around here, a student’s budget does not go that far!)

But most of all, 2013 has brought us many laughs and smiles, hugs, and so much love. Duke is a part of that, but overall, 2013 was a good year to us. Here’s to 2014! We’ll share our resolutions in the New Year but today is all about being thankful for the good that 2013 brought us.

See you in 2014!

Happy New Year all! See you in 2014!

  2. Happy New Year! You’re going to have a tough time outdoing 2013 in 2014! So glad you had such a great year, and hope all your blessings continue into the new one! I especially loved the photos of Duke smiling on the beach, and that last one with his kong. That is one happy dog!!
